Arapahoe Charter School
Established in 1997, Arapahoe Charter School serves grades 1-8. The school is located on Highway 306 in Arapahoe.
Pamlico Community College
With the main campus on Highway 306 midway between
Grantsboro and Arapahoe, Pamlico Community College is a
fully accredited two year community college with programs in
such areas as Arts & Sciences, Business Technologies, Allied
Health, as well as programs in Cosmetology, Early Childhood,
and Electrical/Electronics Technology.
A contract program with East Carolina University enables
students in appropriate programs to transfer on for a four
year education.
PCC Continuing Education
PCC also has an extensive offering of Community Service and Continuing Education classes, Basic Education, and Online Courses, ESL, Compensatory Education, as well as Emergency Training, a-fnd Fire Service classes.
PCC Small Business Center
The Small Business Center at Pamlico Community College, located on Highway 55 in Bayboro supports the development of new businesses and the growth of existing businesses by being a community-based provider of training, counseling, and resource information. The SBC sponsors several business related seminars throughout the year, at no cost to participants.
